The Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Justice) issued Notification S.O. 2055(E) in New Delhi on the 9th May, 2025. In exercise of the powers conferred under Clause (b) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, the President is pleased to nominate Hon'ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, who is a Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Executive Chairman of the National Legal Services Authority. This nomination is effective from 14.05.2025. The notification was signed by Raj Kumar Goyal, Secretary.
