The Ministry of Civil Aviation issued Notification S.O. 2508(E) on 6th June, 2025, in New Delhi. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 3 and Sub-Section 1 (ii) of Section 5 of the Airports Authority of India Act, 1994 (No.55 of 1994), the Central Government has appointed Shri Faiz Ahmed Kidwai as an Ex-officio Member on the Board of Airports Authority of India. Shri Kidwai currently serves as the Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation within the Ministry of Civil Aviation. This appointment is effective immediately and remains in force until further orders. The notification was signed by Rubina Ali, Joint Secretary, and referenced as F. No. AV-24011/8/2022-AAI-MOCA.
