Short title and commencement.- (1) This scheme may be called the Coal Mines Pension (Amendment) Scheme, 2024. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Coal Mines Pension Scheme, 1998,- (a) in paragraph 10, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words "three hundred fifty" the words "one thousand" shall be substituted; (b) in paragraph 11, for the words "three hundred fifty" the words "one thousand" shall be substituted; (c) in paragraph 12,- (i) in sub-paragraph (3), for the words "two hundred and fifty" the words "one thousand" shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-paragraph (4), for the words "three hundred and twenty" the words "one thousand" shall be substituted; [F.
