L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09022024-251964 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 550] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2024/MAGHA 20, 1945 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th February, 2024 S.O. 580(E).-Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 470, dated the 1st July, 2021, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 24th July, 2021, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 1211.75 hectares [558.00 hectares + 653.75 hectares] (approximately) or 2994.24 acres [1378.82 acres + 1615.42 acres] (approximately) lands and all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification ; And, whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the Central Government; And, whereas, the Central Government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the Government of Madhya Pradesh, is satisfied that the lands measuring 1211.75 hectares [558.00 hectares + 653.75 hectares] (approximately) or 2994.24 acres [1378.82 acres + 1615.42 acres] (approximately) and all rights in or over such lands as described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land measuring 1211.75 hectares [558.00 hectares + 653.75 hectares] (approximately) or 2994.24 acres [1378.82 acres + 1615.42 acres] (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number NCL/HQ/LAND AND REVENUE/2023/93, dated the 20th July, 2023 and plan bearing number NCL/HQ/LAND AND REVENUE /2023/94, dated the 20th July, 2023 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation, 5th Floor, Core-II, Scope Minar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi- 110 092 or at the office of the General Managar, Northern Coalfields Limited, Land and Revenue Section, District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh - 486889. Boundary Description of this polygon (A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-A): A-B: The line starts from Point 'A' on boundary of previously acquired land of Jhingurda Block and passes through plot numbers 365 and 366 of village Jhingurdah and plot numbers 51, 52, 56, 53 and 54 village Chatka and meets on boundary of previously acquired land of Dudhichua Block Extension – II at point 'B'. B-C: Line starts from Point 'B' and passes through plot numbers 54, 56, 55 and 58 of village Chatka and plot numbers 403 and 404 of village Jhingurdah and same line passes over the boundary of previously acquired land of Dudhichua Block Extension – II and meets on common boundary of village Jhingurdah and village Karwari at point 'C'.
