Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India), by notification No. N-10/12/2013-PPC/PBRB dated 6th June 2024, in exercise of powers under sub-section (2) of section 9 and sub-section (5) of section 11 read with clauses (c) and (d) of sub-section (2) of section 33 of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 (25 of 1990), makes the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) (Senior Administrative and Allied Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024, effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette; the amendment substitutes the entries under column 11 of the Schedule to the 2021 Regulations for two posts: against serial number 1 (Deputy Director of Administration, Headquarters), it revises the deputation eligibility criteria (including short-term contract or absorption) requiring analogous-post service or five/seven/eight years' service respectively in levels 10, 9 or 8 of the pay matrix plus three years' experience in general administration, establishment, HR, accounts, staff associations, stores management or security/vigilance, with a maximum deputation age of fifty-six years; against serial number 2 (Deputy Director of Administration, Field Offices), it revises both the promotion route (Inspector of Accounts or Senior Administrative Officer, level 8, with eight years' regular service) and analogous deputation criteria similar to serial 1. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-07062024-254614 EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 408] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2024/JYAISHTHA 17, 1946 PRASAR BHARATI (Broadcasting Corporation of India) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th June, 2024 No. N-10/12/2013-PPC/PBRB.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9 and sub- section (5) of section 11 read with clauses (c) and (d) of sub-section (2) of section 33 of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 (25 of 1990), the corporation hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) (Senior Administrative and Allied posts) Recruitment Regulations, 2021, namely:- 1. Short title and Commencement.- (1) These regulations may be called the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) (Senior Administrative and Allied Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) (Senior Administrative and Allied posts) Recruitment Regulations, 2021, in the Schedule,- (i) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Deputy Director of Administration (Headquarters), for the entries under column 11, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "Deputation (including short-term contract or absorption): Officers of the Central Government, State Governments, Union territories Administrations, autonomous bodies or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings,- (a)(i) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; or (iii) with seven years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-9 (Rs. 53100-167800) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; or (iv) with eight years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; and (b) possessing three years' experience in general administration, establishment, human resource development and personnel or staff matters, cash, accounts and budget work, staff associations or unions, stores management and inventory control, security and vigilance. Note 1: The period of deputation (including the period of deputation) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not be exceeding three years. Note 2: The maximum age limit for deputation shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications. Note 3: The Central Government or State Government officers shall only be considered for absorption.", (ii) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Deputy Director of Administration (Field Offices), for the entries under column 11, the following entries shall be substituted, namely: "Promotion: Inspector of Accounts or Senior Administrative Officer in level- 8 (Rs.47600-151100) in the pay matrix with eight years' regular service in the grade after appointment thereto. Note 1: Where juniors who have completed their qualifying or eligibility service are being considered, their seniors would also be considered provided they are not short of requisite qualifying or eligibility service by more than half of such qualifying or eligibility service or two years, whichever is less, and have successfully completed probation period for promotion to the next higher grade along with their juniors who have already completed such qualifying or eligibility service. Note 2: Eligibility criteria for promotion of incumbents holding the feeder posts on regular basis prior to the date of publication of this notification shall continue to be governed by the regulations as existing prior to such date. Deputation (including short-term contract): Officers of the Central Government, State Governments, Union territory administrations, autonomous bodies or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings,- (a) (i) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-10 (Rs.56100-177500) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; or (iii) with seven years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-9 (Rs.53100-167800) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; or (iv) with eight years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; and (b) possessing three years' experience in general administration, establishment, human resource development and personnel or staff matters, cash, accounts and budget work, stores management and inventory control, staff associations or unions, security and vigilance.
