L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-07052024-254072 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1832] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MAY 6, 2024/VAISAKHA 16, 1946 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th May, 2024 S.O. 1925 (E). - Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 519, dated the 27th May, 2022 issued under sub-section (1) of section 4 of Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 4th June, 2022, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to prospect for coal in land measuring 1510.02 hectares (approximately) or 3731.26 acres (approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended thereto, as also in the Schedule hereto annexed; And whereas no notice under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the said Act has been given by the Central Government in respect of the said lands; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the said Act, 1957, the Central Government hereby specifies a further period of one year commencing from the 27th day of May, 2024, as the period within which the Central Government may give notice of its intention to acquire the said land or any rights in or over the said land.
