New Delhi, 15th February, 2024
F.No. 18-18/12522-INC:—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—

Distt. Dhar – 454001, Madhya Pradesh is recognized by State Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya
Pradesh Nurses Registration Council to conduct GNM, B.Sc (N) and Post Basic B.Sc (N) Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-18/12522-INC dated 01/04//2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of
Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary (Health &FW), Government of Madhya Pradesh,
Room No. 241, Mantralaya (Vallabh Bhawan) Area Hills, Bhopal – 462004, Madhya Pradesh was issued. Copy of the
notice dated 01/04//2022 was also enclosed to Dhar College of Nursing Education situated at C/O Mahajan
Hospital Magajpura Road, Dhar, Distt. Dhar – 454001, Madhya Pradesh. In the notice issued, the State
Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing
institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case
of Dhar College of Nursing Education, Madhya Pradesh. The Dhar College of Nursing Education had sent letter
with regard to notice. Thereafter the Council issued an email dated 22/08/2022 to the Dhar College of Nursing
Education. However no action, as required, has been taken by the Dhar College of Nursing Education till date.

clinical and teaching facilities.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947
declares that with effect from 30/05/2022 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM, B.Sc (N) and Post
