Jamnagar 361005, Gujarat is recognized by State Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Nursing Council to conduct ANM & GNM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-11/7495-INC dated 27/06/2023 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Commissioner (Health), & Ex-Officio Secretary (Public Health & Family Welfare) Block No. 05, 1st Floor Old Sachiwalay, Dr. Jivraj Bhavan, Sector No. 10, Gandhinagar – 382010, Gujarat was issued. Copy of the notice dated 27/06/2023 was also enclosed to Human Torch School of Nursing situated at Mayur Green, Plot No. 6, Opp. Snagambag Road, Behind Patel Park, Jamnagar Distt. Jamnagar 361005, Gujarat. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Human Torch School of Nursing. Even the institution, Human Torch School of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 23/02/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM and GNM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 22/09/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM & GNM from Human Torch School of Nursing situated at Mayur Green, Plot No. 6, Opp. Snagambag Road, Behind Patel Park, Jamnagar Distt. Jamnagar 361005, Gujarat shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Gujarat subject to orders of state government. Lt. Col (Dr) SARVJEET KAUR, Secy.
