L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-06112024-258503 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4444] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2024/KARTIKA 15, 1946 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th November, 2024 S.O. 4825(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, number S.O. 832 (E), dated the 23rd February, 2022, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, - (i) in serial number 2, in column (2), after the words "Principal Secretary (Revenue)", the words "or Commissioner-cum Secretary (Revenue)" shall be inserted"; (ii) in serial number 3, in column (2), after the words "Principal Secretary (Environment and Forests)", the words "or Commissioner-cum Secretary (Environment and Forests)" shall be inserted; (iii) in serial number 8, in column (2), for the words "Principal Chief Conservator of Forests", the words "Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests" shall be substituted.
