The specific line covered is a 220 kV S/c line from the company's Solar Power Project switchyard in village Badi Sid, Tehsil Bap, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to Bhadla-II (ISTS) Pooling Station, passing through villages including Badi Sid, Ranjeet Nagar, and Kaan Singh ki Sid in Tehsil Bap, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-06052025-262929 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1976] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 6, 2025/VAISAKHA 16, 1947 2974 GI/2025 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 5th May, 2025 S.O. 2020(E).—Whereas M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited having its registered address at Unit No. 236 B & C, 1st floor, DLF South Court, Saket New Delhi-110017, India, has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line under the transmission scheme "Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited for its 300 MW Solar Power Project in Jodhpur, Rajasthan". And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/69/2024-PG dated 22.07.2024 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the transmission scheme “Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited for its 300 MW Solar Power Project in Jodhpur, Rajasthan". M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers The Times of India (in English) dated 24.08.2024, The Indian Express (in English) dated 24.08.2024, Dainik Bhaskar (in Hindi) dated 23.08.2024, Rajasthan Patrika (in Hindi) dated 23.08.2024, and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 12.10.2024 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 27.02.2025 declaring that no observation/representation was received within 2 Months from the date of Publication in the official gazette of Government of India and newspaper publications. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme "Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited for its 300 MW Solar Power Project in Jodhpur, Rajasthan". The following overhead line is covered under this scheme: 1. Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited Solar Power Project (generation switchyard located in village Badi Sid, Tehsil Bap, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan) - Bhadla-II (ISTS) Pooling Station 220 kV S/c line. The transmission line covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and between the following villages, towns and cities of Rajasthan: +-------+----------------------+----------+----------+-----------+ | S. The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection. vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the Great Indian Bustard (GIB) area, the applicant has to comply with the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the petition No. 838 of 2019 regarding Great Indian Bustard (GIB) case, and the directions of the technical/expert committee constituted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in this regard.
