No. 18 -18/15138 -INC.—In exerci se of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order :— Whereas Millennium College of Nursing situated at Village Gaura, Nathu Barkheda Road, Near Neel bad Chouraha, Bhopal – 462044, Madhya Pradesh is recognized by State Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council to conduct GNM & B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-18/15138 -INC dated 15/11/ /2022 for withdrawal of Reco gnition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary (Health &FW), Government of Madhya Pradesh, Room No. 241, Mantralaya (Vallabh Bhawan) Area Hills, Bhopal – 462004, Madhya Pradesh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 15/11/ /2022 was also enclosed to Millennium College of Nursing situated at Village Gaura, Nathu Barkheda Road, Near Neelbad Chouraha, Bhopal – 462044, Madhya Pradesh . In the notice issued, the St ate Government was requested to submit their recommendat ions to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Millennium College of Nursing , Madhya Pradesh. Even the institution Millenniu m College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 28/03/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those r elating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holdin g a recognized qualification of GNM & B.Sc(N) Millennium College of Nursing situated at Village Gaura, Nathu Barkheda Road, Near Neelbad Chouraha, Bhopal – 462044, Madhya Pradesh shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Madhya Pradesh subject to the orders of State government of Madhya Pradesh.
