NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th August, 2026
S.O. 4331(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Indian Antarctic
Act, 2022 (13 of 2022), read with sub-rules (2) and (3) of rule 41 of the Indian Antarctic Environmental Protection
Rules, 2023, the Central Government hereby re-nominate the following persons as expert members of the Committee
for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification and for that purpose makes the following
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Earth Sciences number S.O. 3508 (E),
dated the 7th August, 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated
the 7th August, 2023, namely:—
In the said notification, for serial numbers (12) to (14) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
numbers and entries shall respectively be substituted, namely:
"(12) Dr. Rasik Ravindra, Former Director, National Centre for Polar and Ocean expert member;
Research, Goa- 403 804. 608, Lalleshwari Apartment, Sector 21D, Faridabad-
121 002.
(13) Dr. V.N. Sanjeevan, Former Director, Centre for Marine Living Resources expert member;
and Ecology, Kochi.
16C, Vindhyas YMJ Road, Agi Teacher Lane, North Janata Road,

(14) Dr. Bimal Patel, Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Raksha University, Lavad expert member;".
