L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-05082024-256055 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2959] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, AUGUST 2, 2024/SHRAVANA 11, 1946 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2nd August, 2024 S.O. 3101(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 415 (E), dated the 01st February 2024, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 01st February 2024, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire the land and all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification; And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the Central Government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the Government of Jharkhand, is satisfied that the land measuring 146.62 hectares (approximately) or 362.1514 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such lands as described in Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land measuring 146.62 hectares (approximately) or 362.1514 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in Schedule are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number ECL/SPM/GM/SUR/LAND/24-25/01 dated the 24th April, 2024, of the area covered by this notification may be inspected sin the office of the Collector, Deoghar (Jharkhand) or in the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core-2, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi- 110092 or in the office of the Director Technical, Project and Planning, Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria, Post Office Dishergarh, District Paschim Bardhaman (West Bengal), Pincode - 713333.
