L.-33004/99 CG-DL-E-03122024-259130 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4813] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2024/AGRAHAYANA 12, 1946 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd December, 2024 S.O. 5205(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 4979 (E) dated the 17th November, 2023, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the coal bearing areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said act) and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) dated the 17th November, 2023, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire the land measuring 56.91 acres (approximately) or 23.03 hectares (approximately) and all rights in or over such land described in the Schedule appended to that notification; And whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of Section '8' of the said act has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the central government, after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the government of Jharkhand is satisfied that the land measuring 56.91 acres (approximately) or 23.03 hectares (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said act, the central Government hereby declares that all Rights in or over land measuring 56.91 acres (approximately) or 23.03 hectares (approximately) as described in the Schedule annexed are hereby acquired. The plan bearing no REV/03/2024 dated the 27th August, 2024 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the office of the Dy. Commissioner, District Latehar, Jharkhand or at the office of coal controller, Coal Controller's Organization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 or in the office of the General Manager, Magadh-Sanghmitra Area, Dist.
