The Ministry of Civil Aviation, on September 3, 2025, issued Notification S.O. 4040(E), whereby the Central Government, in pursuance of Sub-Rule (4) of Rule 10 of the Official Languages (Use for the Official Purposes of the Union) Rules, 1976, notified the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, located at Fursatganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh-229302. This notification was made because 80% of the university's staff have acquired a working knowledge of Hindi. The notification was signed by Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor & Addl. Secy.
