Notification to bring into force the Multi State Cooperative Societies Amendment Act 2023

The Ministry of Cooperation issued Notification S.O. 3493(E) dated 3rd August 2023, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023 (11 of 2023). The Central Government notified that the provisions of the said Amendment Act shall come into force with effect from the 3rd day of August 2023. The notification was issued under File No. L-11012/02/2002-L&M and signed by Vijay Kumar, Special Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation. It was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3(ii), No. 3342, dated 3 August 2023.
