The Ministry of Cooperation, through Notification S.O. 3247(E) dated 16th July, 2025, constituted the Executive Council of the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University, Anand, Gujarat, effective from the same date. This constitution is pursuant to statute 8 of the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University Statutes, 2025, and sub-section 2 of section 22 of the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University Act, 2025 (11 of 2025). The Executive Council comprises 13 members, including the Vice-Chancellor as Chairperson; the Financial Adviser and a Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India; the Managing Director of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC); the Chief General Manager of the Institutional Development Department, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD); Dr. S. Kannappan, Senior Executive Director of the National Fishery Development Board (NFDB); the Chief General Manager & Principal of the College of Agricultural Banking, Reserve Bank of India (RBI); two nominated professors from the university (Prof. Madhavi Mehta, Prof. Seema Singh Rawat); three domain experts from the Cooperative Sector (Sh. D. Krishna, Sh. Jayen Mehta, Sh. Balu Iyer); and the Registrar as Member-Secretary. The tenure for nominated members, excluding ex-officio members, is three years. This notification was issued with the approval of the competent authority, signed by Anand Kumar Jha, Joint Secretary.
