The Ministry of Cooperation, through Notification S.O. 676(E) dated 6th February, 2026, has published the "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University (Amendment) Statutes, 2026, which come into force upon publication in the Official Gazette. These amendments, made by the Central Government under section 33 of the "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University Act, 2025 (11 of 2025), modify the "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University Statutes, 2025. Specifically, in statute 8, sub-statute (2), serial number (vii) is substituted to include "Two officers of the Joint Secretary and above level from the Ministry of Cooperation - Members, ex-officio". In statute 9, sub-statute (2), a new serial number (viia) is inserted for a "Representative of National Dairy Development Board, Gujarat - Member"; serial number (viii) is substituted to include "One representative from one amongst Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited and Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited, by rotation, for three years - Member"; and existing serial numbers (vi) and (vii) occurring after serial number (viii) are renumbered as (ix) and (x) respectively. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-10022026-270027 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 642] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2026/MAGHA 21, 1947 MINISTRY OF COOPERATION NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th February, 2026 S.O. 676(E).—– In exercise of the powers conferred by section 33 of the “Tribhuvan" Sahkari University Act, 2025 (11 of 2025), the Central Government hereby makes the following statutes to amend the "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University Statutes, 2025, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These Statutes may be called as the “Tribhuvan” Sahkari University (Amendment) Statutes, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the "Tribhuvan" Sahkari University Statutes, 2025 :— (a) in statute 8, in substitute to (2), for serial number (vii) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(vii) Two officers of the Joint Secretary and above level from the Ministry of Cooperation - Members, ex-officio;"; (b) in statute 9, in substitute to (2),— (i) after serial number (vii) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:- "(viia) Representative of National Dairy Development Board, Gujarat - Member;"; (ii) for serial number (viii) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(viii) One representative from one amongst Karnataka Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited and Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation Limited, by rotation, for three years - Member;"; (iii) serial numbers “(vi) and (vii)” occurring after serial number (viii) shall be renumbered as serial numbers "(ix) and (x)" respectively.
