4187 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2752] NEW DELHI, MON DAY , JULY 3, 2023/ASHADHA 12, 194 5 CG-DL-E-03072023-246969 क ु ल : 101.174 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd July, 2023 S.O. 2875(E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that the coal is likely to be obtained from the land in the locality described in the schedule annexed hereto; And, Whereas, the plan bearing number MCL/GM(BA)/Subhadra West /2023 / L&R / 01, dated the 21st April, 2023 containing details of the area of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District Angul (Odisha ) or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller’s Organ ization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, Core -2, 5th floor, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi -110 092 or Chief General Manager ( Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Place, Kanke Road, Ranchi -834 031, Jharkhand or at the off ice of the Director (P), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, HQ, Jagruti Vihar. Post Office Jagruti Vihar, Burla, District Sambalpur -768020 (Odisha); Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas ( Acquisition and Development ) Act,1957 ( 20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ),the Central Government hereby gives notice of i ts intention prospect for coal from the land described in the said schedule; Any person interested in the land described in the said schedule may – (i) claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action taken under sub -section (3) of section(4) thereof ; or (ii) claim compensation under sub -section(1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting licen ce ceasing to have effect or under sub -section (4) of section 13 of the said Act for mi ning lease ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the land to show the expenditure incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub -section (1) of section13 of the said Act, to the office o f Director (P), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, HQ, Jagruti Vihar, Post Office Jagruti Vihar, Burla, District Sambalpur -768020 (Odisha) within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. Line B -C : The line starts from point ‘B’and advances in north direction along the common block boundary of Kalinga East Coal Block and Subhadra Weat Coal Bloc k and reaches at point ‘C’, which is tri -junction point of village Joragadia, Barapali and Kishorechandrapur. Line C -D-E : The line starts from point ‘C’ and advances in north direction along the common village boundary of village Barapali and joragadia through point ‘D’ and advances in north -east direction to reach at point ‘E’, which is the tri -junction point of village Joragadia, Hiloi, Kantapali and Barapali . Line E -F-G : The line starts from point ‘E’ and advances in south -east direction along the common village boundary of village Joragadia and Hiloi through point ‘F’ and advances in southern direction to reach at point ‘G’, which is the tri -junction point of village Joragadia, Hiloi, and kurihan.
