NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd January, 2026
S.O. 16(E)-Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal, number S. O.
3211(E), dated the 14th July, 2025, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition
and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), published in the Gazette of India,
Part- II, Section- 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 15th July, 2025, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to
acquire 1272.11 Hectares (approximately) or 3143.384 Acres (approximately) land and all rights in or over such land
specified in the Schedule annexed to that notification;
And, whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the
Central Government;
And, whereas, the Central Government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting to the
Government of Maharashtra, is satisfied that the lands measuring 1187.49 Hectares (approximately) or 2934.29 Acres
(approximately) and all rights in or over such lands as specified in the Schedule appended hereto, should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957, (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby declares that all rights in or
over the land measuring 1187.49 Hectares (approximately) or 2934.29 Acres (approximately) as specified in the said
Schedule are hereby acquired.
The plan bearing number C-I(E)/III/JJJR/1025/1033, dated the 09th October, 2025 of the area covered by this
notification may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District Chandrapur, or at the office of the Coal Controller,
Scope Minar, 5th floor, Core-2, Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi 110051 or at the office of the Head of Department or
General Manager (Mining), Land and Revenue Department, Western Coalfields Limited, Coal Estate, Civil Lines,
Nagpur 440001, Maharashtra.

A - B: Line Starts from point 'A' on the common village boundary of village Gauri and Antargaon (khurd), passes
toward North-east direction along Gauri Nala and meets point 'B' in village Gauri.
B-C: Line Starts from point 'B', passes towards East Direction and meets Point 'C' in village Gauri.
C-D: Line Starts from point 'C', passes towards South-east direction, and meet point 'D' in village Gauri.
D - E: Line Starts from point 'D', passes towards South-east direction, and meet point 'E' in village Gauri.
E - O: The line starts from point "E" passes towards South-east direction and meets at point "O" in village Gowari.
O-P: The line starts from point "O" and passes towards East and meets point 'P' on the common village boundary

G-R: Line starts from point "G", passes towards West direction along Mathara Nalla, than passes along outer-
boundary of Plot number 133 towards South direction and meets point 'R' on the common village boundary
of Mathara and Khairgaon (Rith).
R - S: The line starts from point "R", passes in South-east direction along the common village boundary of Mathara
and Khairgaon (Rith) and meets point "S". on the common village boundary of village Mathara and
Khairgaon (Rith).
S-T: Line starts from point "S" and passes towards South direction, crosses the common village boundary of
Khairgaon (Rith) and Arvi and meets point "T" in village Arvi.
T - I: Line starts from point "T" and passess towards South-west direction, crossed the common village boundary
of village Arvi and Khairgaon (Rith), and meets point 'I' on the common village boundary of Khairgaon
(Rith) and Khamona.
I - U: Line starts from point "I" and passes towards west direction and meets point 'U' on the common village
boundary of Khamona and Muthara.
U - V: The line starts from point 'U', passes towards North direction and meets point 'V' on the common village
