Bringing the Universities of UT of Jammu and Kashmir within the jurisdiction of CAT

R. 471(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985), the Central Government hereby specifies the 02ndAugust, 2024 as the date on and from which the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the said Act shall apply to the following Universities of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, being autonomous/ statutory/ corporate body under it and for the said purpose, makes following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training) published vide number G.S.R.730(E), dated 2nd May, 1986, namely:- 2.
