L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-02032024-252565 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 951] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2024/PHALGUNA 11, 1945 1450 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st March, 2024 S.O. 996(E).-Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 5558(E), dated the 30th November, 2022, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 30th November, 2022, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire all rights in and over the land measuring 15.92 acres (approximately) or 6.44 hectares (approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended to that notification; And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the Central Government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the Government of Jharkhand is satisfied that all rights in and over land measuring 15.92 acres (approximately) or 6.44 hectares (approximately), described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that all rights in and over land measuring 15.92 acres (approximately) or 6.44 hectares (approximately), described in the Schedule annexed hereto are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number REV/15/2023, dated the 27th March, 2023 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, District -Chatra (Jharkhand) or at the Office of Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core – II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi - 110092 or in the Office of the General Manager, Amrapali Chandragupt Area, District Chatra (Jharkhand) or General Manager, Land and Revenue, Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi- 834001, Jharkhand or Chief General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi - 834008, Jharkhand.
