WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 19th November, 2024
F. No. 18-11/14792-INC.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues thefollowing order:—
Whereas, Vardan School Of Nursing situated at Behind Pargi Petrol Pump, By Pass Road, Fatepura,
Distt.- Dahod, Pin Code- 389172, Gujarat is recognized by State Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Nursing
Council to conduct ANM and GNM Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-11/14792-INC (53875) dated 26/02/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under
section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Commissioner (Health), & Ex-Officio Secretary
(Public Health & Family Welfare) Block No. 05, 1st Floor Old Sachiwalay, Dr. Jivraj Bhavan, Sector No. 10,
Gandhinagar - 382010, Gujarat was issued. Copy of the notice dated 26/02/2024 was also enclosed to Vardan
School Of Nursing situated at Behind Pargi Petrol Pump, By Pass Road, Fatepura, Distt.-Dahod,
Pin Code- 389172, Gujarat. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their
recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case
of Vardan School of Nursing. Even the institution, Vardan School Of Nursing has not responded to the notices
issued.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated
23/08/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e.,
clinical facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM and GNM
Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from
21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM and GNM from Vardan School Of Nursing
situated at Behind Pargi Petrol Pump, By Pass Road, Fatepura, Distt.- Dahod, Pin Code- 389172, Gujarat shall
be entitled to be registered only in the State of Gujarat.
