In exercise of the powers conferred under section 14 (2) of Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition & Development) Act, 1957, the Government establishes a Special Tribunal (Full Time) at Talcher, Odisha for adjudicating the cases related to land acquisition and compensation in Talcher coalfield. The functioning of the Special Tribunal (Full Time) at Talcher, Odisha will take effect from the date of appointment of the Presiding Officer in the said Tribunal. 2. Further, the Government creates one temporary post of the Presiding Officer at ₹ 2,25,000/- per month (Fixed) for the Special Tribunal (Full Time) at Talcher, Odisha under the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition & Development) Act, 1957 for a period of two years with effect from the date of assumption of charge.
