Search cum Selection Committee for the appointment to the post of Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity

In accordance with Section 3(3) of Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021, a Search-cum-Selection Committee is hereby constituted as follows for making recommendations to the Central Government for the appointment to the post of Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity :- (i) Hon'ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Chief Justice of India - Chairperson (ii) Hon'ble Mr. Justice M.M. Kumar, former Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir - Member (iii) Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy - Member (iv) Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas - Member (v) Secretary, Ministry of Power - Member-Secretary 2. The Search-cum-Selection Committee shall recommend a name for appointment to the post of Chairperson, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity. However, one additional candidate shall be placed in the waiting list. 3. The Search-cum-Selection Committee shall determine procedure for making its recommendation. [F.
