Notification in respect of M/s Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-01042026-271479 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1573] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2026/CHAITRA 9, 1948 2287 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF POWER ORDER New Delhi, the 27th March, 2026 S.O. 1638(E).— Whereas M/s Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited, the applicant with its registered office at Adani Corporate House, Shantigram, near Vaishno Devi Circle, S G Highway, Khodiyar, Ahmedabad - 382 421, Gujarat, has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line included in the transmission scheme for Providing Connectivity to Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited for its 300 MW Wind Power Project in Kachchh, Gujarat. And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No.25-17/53/2025-PG dated 02.06.2025 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead transmission line included in the transmission scheme for Providing Connectivity to Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited for its 300 MW Wind Power Project in Kachchh, Gujarat. M/s Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers The Indian Express (in English) dated 11.06.2025 & Rajasthan Patrika (in Hindi) dated 11.06.2025, Gujarat Samachar (in Gujarati) dated 11.06.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 19.07.2025 for the general public to make observations/ representations on the proposed transmission route within two months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 11.02.2026 declaring that no observation/ representation was received within two months from the date of Publication in the official Gazette of Government of India. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of overhead transmission line for M/s Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited. The following overhead transmission line is covered under this scheme:- • AWEK3L (generation switchyard situated in village: Beraja, Taluka- Mundra, District-Kachchh Gujarat) - Navinal (Mundra) S/s (GIS) 220kV S/c line (On D/c or M/c towers). The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/ codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under the Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s Adani Wind Energy Kutchh Three Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection. vii. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) area, the applicant has to comply with the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in its order dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019 and any other directions given by competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by Hon'ble Supreme Court.
