L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-01022024-251680 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 363] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2024/MAGHA 11, 1945 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 31st January, 2024 S.O. 387(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 680, dated the 20th July, 2022, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the Gazette of India, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii), dated 23rd July, 2022, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire the all rights in and over the land measuring 105.97 acres (approximately) or 42.88 hectares (approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended to that notification; And whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas, the Central Government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the Government of Jharkhand is satisfied that the all rights in and over land measuring 105.97 acres (approximately) or 42.88 hectares (approximately), described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that all rights in and over land measuring 105.97 acres (approximately) or 42.88 hectares (approximately), described in the Schedule annexed hereto are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number REV/07/2023, dated the 30th October, 2023 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, District – Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) or at the Office of Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core – II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi - 110092 or in the Office of the General Manager, Argada Area, District Hazaribagh (Jharkhand) or General Manager, Land and Revenue, Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi- 834001, Jharkhand or Chief General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi - 834008, Jharkhand.
