L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-01012025-259795 EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1079] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2024/PAUSHA 6, 1946 8444 GI/2024 (1) INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL WITHDRAWAL ORDER New Delhi, the 19th November 2024 F.No. 18-33/5907-INC.— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:— Whereas, Vinayaka Mission's College of Nursing situated at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital Campus, Cuddalore Main Road, Vill.- Kirumampakkam, Tehsil – Bahour, Distt. Puducherry 607402 Pondicherry is recognized by State Government of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council to conduct PB Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, PB Diploma in Emergency & Disaster, PB Diploma in Ortho & Rehabilitation, and PB Diploma in Neonatal Nursing & Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-33/5907-INC (52827) dated 26/02/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Secretary (Health & FW), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, 4th Floor, Fort St. George, Secretariat, Chennai 600009, Tamil Nadu was issued. Copy of the notice dated 26/02/2024 was also enclosed to, Vinayaka Mission's College of Nursing situated at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital Campus, Cuddalore Main Road, Vill.- Kirumampakkam, Tehsil – Bahour, Distt. Puducherry 607402 Pondicherry. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Vinayaka Mission's College of Nursing Even the institution Vinayaka Mission's College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 25/10/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run PB Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, PB Diploma in Emergency & Disaster, PB Diploma in Ortho & Rehabilitation, and PB Diploma in Neonatal Nursing & Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery Course Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of PB Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, PB Diploma in Emergency & Disaster, PB Diploma in Ortho & Rehabilitation, and PB Diploma in Neonatal Nursing & Nurse Practitioner in Midwifery Course from Vinayaka Mission's College of Nursing situated at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital Campus, Cuddalore Main Road, Vill.- Kirumampakkam, Tehsil – Bahour, Distt.
