INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL
WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 19th November, 2024
F.No. 18-36/14976-INC: —In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council
Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—
Whereas, Neo Medics Nursing School situated at Vill – Tetulia, Post – Sec.12, Bokaro, Distt. Bokaro
827001 Jharkhand is recognized by State Government of Jharkhand and Jharkhand Nurses Registration Council to
conduct ANM Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-36/14976-INC (53927) dated 26/02/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under
section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Chief Secretary, Department of Health and Family
Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, Nepal House, Doranda, Ranchi – 834002, Jharkhand was issued. Copy of the
notice dated 26/02/2024 was also enclosed to Neo Medics Nursing School situated at Vill – Tetulia, Post – Sec.12,
Bokaro, Distt. Bokaro 827001 Jharkhand In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their
recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case
of Neo Medics Nursing School Even the institution Neo Medics Nursing School has not responded to the notices
issued.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated
19/09/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e.,
clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run
ANM Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from
21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM from Neo Medics Nursing School situated at Vill
Tetulia, Post – Sec.12, Bokaro, Distt. Bokaro 827001 Jharkhand shall be entitled to be registered only in the
State of Jharkhand.
