NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 24th July, 2024
F. No. 01/01/2016/HP-I/Estt/1881-1888.-In partial modification of this Government's notification
No. F.01/01/2016/HP-I/Estt./2733 to 2740 dated 2.8.2016 and in exercise of powers conferred under Section 10 of the
Delhi Police Act, 1978 (34 of 1978) read with the clause (u) of Section 2 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
and Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi S.O. 2506(E) dated 28th June,2024, the Lieutenant
Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in order to facilitate extension of better police assistance to the
public, hereby, is pleased to direct and declare as under :
i) That Bijwasan Railway Station shall be a separate Police Station from the date of issue of this notification;
ii) That Police Station Bijwasan Railway Station shall be included in the jurisdiction of Sub-Division Old Delhi
Railway Station from the date of issue of this notification;
iii) That the area of Palam Railway Station, Shahbad Mohammad Pur Railway Station and Bijwasan Railway
Station shall be excluded from the jurisdiction of Police Station Delhi Cantt. Railway Station and included
in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijwasan Railway Station;
iv) That the Police Station Bijwasan Railway Station shall have jurisdiction over Platforms, Parking,
Circulating Area bounded by entry and exit gates of Railway Stations.
v) That the boundaries/revised boundaries/jurisdiction of Railway Police Stations Delhi Cantt. Railway Station
and Bijwasan Railway Station shall cover the local area henceforth as specified in the given schedule:
