Specifically, it amends Rule 1 of Part B of Chapter 3 by inserting a new Serial No. 4B in the Schedule appended with Clause (xix) of Rule 1, between existing serial numbers 4A and 5. The new entry specifies that the Appellate Tribunal under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, shall be heard by a Bench of two Judges. This amendment shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Gazette.
