Delhi, the 13th August, 2025
F. No. 6/38/2025-Judl./Suptlaw/1444-1450.-In pursuance of the provisions of Rule 18 of the Delhi
Judicial Service Rules, 1970, as amended up to date, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in
consultation with the High Court of Delhi, is pleased to appoint the following 53 candidates [ 33 General (General-26
& General PwD-07), 06 SC (SC-05 & SC PwD-01) and 14 ST] as members of the Delhi Judicial Service on probation
for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices on being posted by
the High Court of Delhi:

2. These appointments are on purely provisional basis, and subject to the verification of character and
antecedents of the candidates from the concerned authorities and verification of their caste certificate/PH category
certificate, where ever applicable. If the verification reveals that the claim to belong to Scheduled Caste and
Scheduled Tribe or Physically Handicapped category, as the case may be, is false, the services will be terminated
forthwith without assigning any further reasons and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the
provisions of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 for production of false certificate.
3. The above appointments shall be subject to the provisions of the Delhi Judicial Service Rules, 1970 as
amended up to date and other orders/instructions as may be applicable to the officers of the Delhi Judicial Service
from time to time.
4. The inter-se seniority of the above named candidates in the Delhi Judicial Service will remain the same as
assigned to them in the merit list prepared by the Selection Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Delhi
Judicial Service Rules, 1970 as amended up to date.
5. The post carries the scale of pay of Rs.77840-136520 (J-1) plus usual allowances as may be admissible
under the rules from time to time.
