Governor of Delhi in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Other Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996), read with rule 251 of the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2002. The reconstitution also references Notification No. U-11020/1/2000-UTL dated 14th July, 2000 and Notification S.O.3753 (E) dated 02.09.2024, both issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The newly constituted Board is effective from October 13, 2025, for a period of three years or until further reconstitution. The Board comprises the Hon'ble Minister of Labour, GNCTD as Chairperson, a nominee of the Central Government as Member, five members representing the Government (Secretary Labour, Commissioner Labour, Secretary Finance, Secretary Health, and Principal Secretary Law of GNCTD), and five members representing Employers (Engineer in Chief-PWD, Engineer in Chief-MCD, Engineer in Chief-DDA, Additional General Manager (HR) DMRC, and Chief Engineer, I&FC, GNCTD). Five members representing the employees of Building and Other Construction Workers will be notified subsequently. The order was issued by Ashok Kumar, Secretary (Labour).
