No. 111 PART IV GOVERNMENT OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI DEPARTMENT OF FOOD, SUPPLIES & CONSUMER AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 13th July, 2026 No. F.9(11)/2013/F&S/Admn./NFSA/605-635.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of Section 40 read with Section 10 of the National Food Security Act, 2013, and in partial modification of the Delhi Food Security Rules, 2026, published in the Delhi Gazette vide notification No: SG-DL-E-06022026-269896 dated 02ndFebruary, 2026, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to make the following amendment in the Delhi Food Security Rules, 2026, namely: 1. Short title and commencement (i) These rules may be called the Delhi Food Security (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (ii) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment in Rule 3 In the Delhi Food Security Rules, 2026, in Rule 3, sub-rule (1), for the words and figures: "The households having annual family income upto Rs.1.20 lakh will be considered as eligible households for inclusion in the Priority Household category." the following shall be substituted, namely: "The households having annual family income upto Rs.2.50 lakh will be considered as eligible households for inclusion in the Priority Household category."
