The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, through its Health and Family Welfare Department, issued Notification F. No 50(04)/DC/Estt/2025/804 on November 13, 2025. In exercise of powers conferred by Sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Drugs & Cosmetics (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 2025, read with Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. S.O.(E) 689(E) dated September 25, 1985, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has authorized the Controlling Authority, appointed under Rule 50 of the Drugs Rules, 1945, to serve as the compounding authority. This authorization is for the purpose of Section 32B of the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940, and the rules framed thereunder, and it applies to the entire National Capital Territory of Delhi, effective from the date of its publication in the official gazette. The notification was issued by order and in the name of the Lt. Governor and signed by RAJ KUMAR, Dy. Secy. (H&FW).
