Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in consultation with the High Court of Delhi, is pleased to appoint the following candidates as member of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service against permanent posts in temporary capacity in order of merit on a probation period of two years w.e.f. the date they assume the charge of their offices. The above appointment is on purely provisional basis, and subject to the verification of character and antecedents of the candidate from the concerned authorities and verification of their caste certificate/PH category certificate, where ever applicable. If the verification reveals that the claim to belong to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe or Physically Handicapped category, as the case may be, is false, the services will be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reasons and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the provisions of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 for giving false certificate. 3. The above appointment shall be subject to the provisions of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1970 as amended up to date and other orders/instructions as may be applicable to the officers of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service from time to time. 4. The inter-se seniority of the above-named candidates in the Delhi Higher Judicial Service vis-a-vis other candidates selected, on basis of Delhi Higher Judicial Sesrvice Examination, 2024, shall remain the same as assigned to them in the merit list prepared by the Selection Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1970 as amended up to date. 5. The post carries the scale of pay of members of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Rs.144840-194660 in level J-5 of Table 1 r/w Rule 19 of Delhi Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1970 plus admissible allowances, as are admissible under relevant Rules.
