Detailed Summary

The Directorate of Gurdwara Elections, under Notification No. F.1/585/DGE/2023/354 dated 4th June, 2025, has withdrawn the co-option of Mohinder Singh S/o S. Fateh Singh, previously co-opted vide Notification No. F.1/471/DGE/2021/6261 dated 26th October, 2021, and Surinder Singh Dara S/o Late S. Pritam Singh Dara, previously co-opted vide Notification No. F.1/471/DGE/2021/7012 dated 18th January, 2022, from the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, both with immediate effect. Concurrently, in pursuance of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971, read with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (Co-option of Members) Rules 1974, the Competent Authority has co-opted Kashmir Singh S/o D Singh (R/o WZ-340, Plot No. 118, Sri Nagar, Shakurbasti, New Delhi – 110034) and Malkeet Singh S/o Surjeet Singh (R/o R-627, Raghubir Nagar, New Delhi – 110027) as members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, effective immediately, chosen by draw of lots. This action is signed by Manvinder Singh, Director (Gurdwara Election).
