5855 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3570 ] NEW DELHI, THURS DAY , SEPTEMBER 12, 2024/BHADRA 21, 1946 CG-WB-E-12092024-257113 1 2 3 5 6 7 8 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Eastern Railway (Construction Department) ] NOTIFICATION Kolkata , the 12th September , 2024 S.O. 3903 (E).—Whereas by the notification of The Govt. of India in The Ministry of Railways, S.O. number 4080(E), dated the 7th September, 2023 published in the Gazette of India on 15/09/2023, extraordinary part II, section 3, sub -section (II) issued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) read with the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (here in after referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declaration its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed here to required for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project namely New BG Line from Nabadwip Ghat Nabadwip Dham in the district of Nadia in the State of West Bengal. And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in "Ajkal Patrika & Telegraph Patrika sated the 27th September, 2023 under sub -section (4) of section 20A of the said Act. And whereas any objection has not been filed within the statutory time limit And whereas in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report of the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this declaration in the Officials Gazette, the land specified in the said schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free form all encumbrances.
