                Detailed Summary
            

            
This notification, S.O. 4926(E) dated 4th September, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway), declares the Central Government's acquisition of land for the construction of a Proposed Road Over Bridge in lieu of existing Level Crossing Gate No.49 at KM.275/46-48, situated between Raghavapuram and Ramagundam Station in Peddapalli District, Telangana. This declaration is made under sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 20(E) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), following a report from the Competent Authority. The initial intention to acquire was previously declared by S.O. No. 772(E) dated 17.06.2026, published in the Gazette of India on 19.06.2026, under sub-section (1) of Section 20(A) of the same Act. An extract of the intention notification was published in Deccan Chronicle and Sakshi Daily Newspaper on 08.07.2026, approved by the Chief Engineer, Construction-II, South Central Railway, Secunderabad. The Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Peddapalli, conducted Grama Sabhas, received, and disposed of objections under Section 20 D (2) of the Act, subsequently submitting a report to the Central Government. Upon publication of this notification, the land specified in the annexed schedule, totaling 5-17½ Ac-Gts in Kundanpalli Village, Anthergaon Mandal, Peddapalli District, shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances. NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 4th September, 2026

S.O. 4926(E).— Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number S.O.No.772 (E). Dated.17.06.2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part-II Section 3 Sub section (ii), No. 734, dated. 19.06.2026 (herein after referred to as said notification) and issued
under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 Of 1989), the Central Government declares its
intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the Proposed Road Over
Bridge in lieu of existing Level Crossing Gate No.49 at KM.275/46-48 between Raghavapuram and Ramagundam
Station in Peddapalli District in the state of Telangana, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land:.

And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers i.e., Deccan Chronicle
and Sakshi Daily Newspaper on 08.07.2026 with the approval of Chief Engineer, Construction-II, South Central
Railway, Secunderabad, under sub-section (1): Section 20(A) of this Act.

And whereas, Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Peddapalli have conducted Grama
Sabha and received objections and disposed off the same under Section 20 D (2) of the said Act.

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20(E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted
its report to the Central Government.

Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned
in the Schedule have been annexed to be obtained here for the purpose mentioned above;

Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20(E) of this Act, the Central Government, hereby
declares on publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to
shall vest absolutely in the Central Government is from all encumbrances.
