NOTIFICATION
Kolkata, the 9th December, 2025
S.O. 5689(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the ministry of
the Railways, vide no. S.O. 3920 (E)dated 26.08.2025published in Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, part II – section3 – Sub-section (ii) vide No. 3815 dated 26.08.2025 issue under
sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (here in after
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land
specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification, is required for the purpose of execution,
maintenance, management and operation of the special Railway Project, namely,“Godda
Pirpainti New B.G. Rail Line”in the District of Godda in the State of Jharkhand.
And whereas the Substance of the said notification has been published in the “Prabhat
Khabar” on 29.08.2025 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act and thereafter
Corrigendum was published in the “Prabhat Khabar” and “Dainik Jagran” on 28.11.2025.
And whereas no objection has been received from any person by the competent authority
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the
competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now, therefore, upon receiving of the said report of the competent authority and in
exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said schedule should be acquired for the
aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of Sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the
land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all
encumbrances.
Brief description of the land to be acquired with or without structure falling within the stretch of
land Under Godda District in the state of Jharkhand , Special Railway Project from Km
63.394(Mauza -Khuthari, Anchal -Mahagama) to KM 81.764 (Ithari , Anchal-Meherma ) for
Godda to Pirpainti New B.G. Rail Line in the Eastern Railway.
