L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-WB-E-10072025-264497 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2996] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JULY 9, 2025/ASHADHA 18, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Eastern Railway/(Construction Organization) NOTIFICATION Kolkata, the 9th July, 2025 S.O. 3063(E). — In exercise of Power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), Chapter IV-A (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule below, is required for execution, maintenance, management and operation of 'Construction of Nalpur-Bauria Road Over Bridge in lieu of LC No.18 at Km.23/17-19' of Howrah- Kharagpur section under South Eastern Railway declared as "Special Railway Project" in the district of Howrah in the state of West Bengal, hereby declares its intension to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of the notification in the official Gazette, object, under sub-section (1) of the section 20D of the said Act to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, viz. Special Land Acquisition Officer(General)/Howrah, West Bengal, in his office located at office of the District Magistrate & Collector, Howrah, Special Land Acquisition (General) Department, District Level Office Building, 12 Nityadhan Mukherjee Road, Howrah- 711101, West Bengal in writing, and shall set out the grounds thereof and Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections as per Sub-Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act. Any order made by the Special Land Acquisition Officer (General)/Howrah, West Bengal- cum-Competent Authority under Sub-Section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final. The land plans & the other details of the land covered under notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent Authority.
