L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4530] NEW DELHI, SATUR DAY , OCTOBER 28, 2023/ KARTIKA 6, 1945 CG-UP-E-30102023-249776 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 51223 )] दििांक 24.11.2021 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY (CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT) NOTIFICATION Prayagraj, 26 October, 2023 S.O. 4 718(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway, Construction department), Notification number, S.O. 2721 (E) dated the 20 June, 2023 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, sect ion 3 Sub -section (ii), dated the 09 June, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely special railway project of Prayagraj -Pt. Deendayal 3rd line doubling Railway project (150 km) in District Prayagraj in the state of Uttar Pradesh. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Dainik Jagran ” and “ The Times of India ” Dated 30th June , 2023 under sub se ction (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, The All the objections received by the competent authority in this project have been reso lved by the competent authority ; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Au thority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby decla res that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notifi cation in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances. And, that all persons interested in the above mentioned land in pursuance of sub -section (04) of section 20 (F) of the said Act by the Central Government are hereby informed that they may, personally or through an agent or legal practitioner, be notified by the competent authority Land Acquisition Officer ( Joint Organisation) Prayagraj, can submit his claim in the next 20 days from the date of publication of this notification in the office of the Competent Authority.
