The Central Government, through Notification S.O. 3470(E) dated 10th June, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway (Construction Department)), declares the acquisition of specified land for the execution, maintenance, management, and operation of The Aligarh-Harduaganj flyover (22 Km.) in the District of Aligarh, State of Uttar Pradesh. This declaration is made in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20E of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), following the receipt of a report from the competent authority. Previously, the Central Government had declared its intention to acquire this land via notification S.O. 4695(A), dated 05 October 2024, published in the Gazette of India on 26 October 2024, under sub-section (i) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989. The substance of this intention was published in the daily newspapers Dainik Jagran and Amar Ujala on 08.11.2024. Sixteen objections were received, considered, and allowed by the competent authority. This notification also serves as a corrigendum to correct clerical errors on page 1 of Gazette of India S.O. 1928(A) published on 29 April, 2025, concerning Section 20E under the same Act.

S.O. 3470(E). — Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), No, S.O. 4695(A), dated 05 October 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub- section (ii), dated 26 October 2024 and issued of sub section (i) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance, management and operation of The Aligarh- Harduaganj flyover (22 Km.) in the District of Aligarh in the State of Uttar Pradesh; And whereas the substance of the said notification was published in the daily newspapers Dainik Jagran dated 08.11.2024 and the Amar Ujala 08.11.2024 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas 16 objection was received and the same have been considered and allowed by the Competent authority and accordingly orders have been passed; And whereas in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers Conferred by sub- section (1) of section 20E of the Railway Act, 1989 the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; [F.
