Detailed Summary

This notification, S.O. 3388(E) dated 21st July, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway (Construction Department)), declares the acquisition of land for the "Agra Fort-Bandikui Doubling Project". Exercising powers under sub-section (1) of Section 20A, sub-section (1) of Section 20E, and sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008), the Central Government is acquiring land for the public purpose of execution, maintenance, management, and operation of this Special Railway Project. An initial intention to acquire land in District Alwar, Rajasthan, was published in "Dainik Bhaskar" and "Rajasthan Patrika" on 06.04.2025, as per sub-section (4) of Section 20A. Objections were received from one village and addressed by the Competent Authority, whose report was subsequently submitted to the Central Government under sub-section 20E. The lands, primarily private agriculture parcels, are located in Mandawar Tehsil, Mandawar village, District Dausa, Rajasthan, including Plot No. 892 (0.0130 Hect.), Plot No. 893 (0.0135 Hect.), Plot No. 901 (0.0165 Hect.), and Plot No. 902 (0.0162 Hect.). Upon publication of this notification in the official Gazette, these lands will vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-UP-E-26072025-264960 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2025/SHRAVANA 2, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Central Railway (Construction Department)] NOTIFICATION Prayagraj, the 21st July, 2025 S.O. 3388(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub – section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) & Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose the land the brief description of which has been given in schedule annexed hereto, is required for purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project namely, " Agra Fort-Bandikui Doubling Project" in District Alwar in the state of Rajasthan hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely "Dainik Bhaskar" and Rajasthan Patrika" dated 06.04.2025 under sub section (4) of Section 20A of the said ACT. Any whereas, in 01 village objections were received and competent Authority have passed the orders accordingly; Any whereas, in pursuance of sub section 20E of the said Act, the competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
