This notification, S.O. 3933(E), issued by the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway, Engineering Department) on July 13, 2026, and published in the Gazette of India on July 16, 2026, authorizes an officer to act as an "Arbitrator." In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 20F of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government designates the District Magistrate, Morena, Madhya Pradesh, to perform the functions of an Arbitrator for land acquisition proceedings. This authorization is effective from the date of publication of the notification. The specific Special Railway Projects include the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 451 at Km. 1265/12-14 on the Gwalior-Dholpur Section; construction of ROB in lieu of Level Crossing No. 437 at km 1243/7-9 between RRU-BAO station in GWL-DHO section; construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 438 at km 1244/503.70 near Banmor station in GWL - DHO section; and proposed construction of ROB in lieu of Level Crossing No. 449 at Km 1262/2-4 on Gwalior-Dholpur section, all within the Morena District, Madhya Pradesh. NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 13th July, 2026

S.O. 3933(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 20F of the Railways Act,
1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer specified in Column (2) of the Table below
to act as "Arbitrator" to perform the function as such authority under the said Act with effect from date of publication
of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of Special Railway Project of “Construction of a Road Over Bridge
(ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 451 at Km. 1265/12-14 on the Gwalior-Dholpur Section", " Jhansi division:
Construction of ROB in lieu of Level Crossing No. 437 at km 1243/7-9 in between RRU-BAO station in GWL-DHO
section", "Jhansi division: Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 438 at km
1244/503.70 near Banmor station in GWL - DHO section" and "Proposed construction of ROB in lieu of Level
crossing No. 449 at Km 1262/2-4 on Gwalior- Dholpur section" in the district mentioned in Column (3) and in the
State mentioned in Column (4) of the said Table, for the purpose of land acquisition proceedings of such Special
Railway Project.
