NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 4th June, 2026
S.O. 3105(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, (24 of
1989), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as
"Competent Authority" to perform the functions as such authority for land acquisition under the said act with effect
from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of the special railway project of "
Jhansi division: Construction of ROB in lieu of Level Crossing No. 437 at km 1243/7-9 in between RRU-BAO station
in GWL-DHO section", "Jhansi division: Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 438
at km 1244/503.70 near Banmor station in GWL - DHO section” and “Proposed construction of ROB in lieu of Level
crossing No. 449 at Km 1262/2-4 on Gwalior- Dholpur section" in the state of Madhya Pradesh relating to District
mentioned in column (3) of the said table for the public purpose of execution maintenance, management and operation
of such railway project.
