This acquisition is for the public purpose of executing the North Central Railway's Special Railway project, which involves raising the speed to 160kmph/200kmph on the existing New Delhi-Howrah route (including Kanpur-Lucknow) for Sub Sectioning and Paralleling Post. Any interested person may raise objections within thirty days from the notification's publication in newspapers, as per Section 20D sub-section (1) of the said Act. Objections must be submitted in writing to the Competent Authority, identified as the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sasni/SLAO Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, who will provide an opportunity for a hearing. The Competent Authority's order under sub-section (2) of Section 20D shall be final under sub-section (3). Land plans and details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The Schedule specifies agricultural land in Purakalan village, Hathras Tehsil, Hathras Pargana, with Plot Nos. 385, 389, and 390, totaling 0.0550 hectares, to be acquired for this project. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) ofSection 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989)& Railway Amendment Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (Hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government after beingsatisfied that for the public purpose the land situated at District Hathras of the state ofUttar Pradesh, the brief description of which has given in the Schedule annexed hereto isrequired for the purpose of execution of the North Central Railway'sSpecial Railway project,namelyRaising of Speed to 160kmph/200kmph on existing New Delhi-Howrah route (incl. Kanpur-Lucknow) in the district of Hathras in the State of Uttar Pradesh, forSub Sectioning and Paralleling Post hereby declares itsintention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within thirty days from thedate of publication of this notification in the Newspapers, raise objection to the acquisitionand use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under Section 20D sub- section (1) of the saidAct. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority namely, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sasni/SLAO Hathras Uttar Pradesh in writing and shallset out the grounds there of and the Competent Authority shall give the objector anopportunity of being heard either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of Section20D of the said Act shall be final u/s 20D sub section (3). The land plans and other details of the land covered under thisnotification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent Authority/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sasni/SLAO Hathras.
