L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-UP-E-18012024-251462 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 241] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JANUARY 18, 2024/PAUSHA 28, 1945 406 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (North Central Railway) (CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT) NOTIFICATION Jhansi, the 16th January, 2024 S.O. 250(E).-Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway, Construction department), Notification number, S.O. 4934 (E) dated the 04th, December 2023 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 04th,December 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely special railway project of “JHS: Widening & pucca of approach road at Sank goods” shed in District Morena in the state of Madhya Pradesh. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely "Dainik Bhaskar" and "Hindustan Express", Morena Dated 07th December, 2023 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, the objections were received by the competent authority and have been considered by the competent authority and orders have been passed accordingly, and the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
