Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Authority, identified as the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Distt. Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, who will provide an opportunity for a hearing. The order issued by the Competent Authority under subsection (2) of Section 20D shall be final under subsection (3). Land plans and details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The Schedule annexed describes the land to be acquired, totaling 7.7512 hectares across villages like Jangal Dudhai urf Chehri, Ramnagar, and Mathuranagar in Tehsil Pharenda, Pargana Haveli, with land types including Agricultural, Nali, Chakmarg, Rasta, Khanta, Van Vibhag, and Non-agricultural. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-UP-E-17122025-268564 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5585] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2025/AGRAHAYANA 24, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Eastern Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Gorakhpur, the 15th December, 2025 S.O. 5780 (E)-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) & Railway Amendment Act 2008 (11 of 2008) (Hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, situated at District Maharajganj of the state of Uttar Pradesh, the brief description of which has given in the Schedule annexed hereto, is required for the execution of the special railway project, namely New Line between Anandnagar-Ghughuli via Maharajganj, New B.G. Line (52.70 KM) Special Railway Project of North Eastern Railway, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under Section 20D subsection (1) of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Authority, namely, Special Land Acquisition Officer Distt. Maharajganj Uttar Pradesh in writing and shall set out the grounds there of, and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order by the Competent Authority under subsection (2) of Section 20D of the said Act shall be final u/s 20D subsection (3).
