NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 2nd June, 2025
S.O. 2486(E). - Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number 29 March 2025 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii), dated the 20 March 2025 and issued under section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24
of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land
specified in the schedule annexure to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and
operation of the Special Railway Project, namely, “Development of Gati Shakti Multi Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT)
taking off between Singpur Loya Crossing station and R&D yard of Jawaharpur Thermal Power Plant(JTPP), Etah,
Prayagraj Division, North Central Railway for M/s Shree Cement North Pvt. Ltd., Etah Uttar Pradesh;
And whereas, the substance of the said notification has been published in the daily local newspapers, namely,
"Amar Ujala", dated the 05 April, 2025 and "Dainik Jagran" dated the 05 April, 2025 under sub-section (4) of section
20A of the said Act;
And Whereas, objection has not been received
And Whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the
schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed here
to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free all encumbrances.
SCHEDULE 20 E
In Etah district of Uttar Pradesh, for a special rail project, i.e., for M/s Shree Cement North Private Limited,
the development of a Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) is proposed between the Jawaharpur Thermal
Power Plant (JTPP), Etah R & D. Yard, and Singpur Loya Crossing Station under the Prayagraj Division of North
Central Railway. This is for the proposed linear connectivity up to Etah, Uttar Pradesh, and involves the acquisition of
land with or without structures. The details are as follows:
